Bitten

                The episode begins with Sam and Dean busting into a house and finding people dead and blood on a wall. Following the instructions on the sticky note on a laptop, they begin to watch a video made by the kids. It takes a quick nose dive and turns into a video of one of the kids getting bitten and to figure out what he is they follow Sam and Dean in their movie. At the end of it all however, the kids end up turning on each other as all of them turn into werewolves.

                This episode was very different than the usual episode because usually we were following Sam and Dean along the episode. However, instead of that this time we follow some kids following Sam and Dean as normal people would. We see normal people interacting with the supernatural, stuff they have no idea how to control it. Not only that they had no idea it existed, still they did just roll with whatever Sam and Dean said pretty fast. Of course they did have proof to back up what Sam and Dean were saying. Sadly the computer nerd kid was obsessed with a girl and in the end killed his best friend for the girl. Only to end up being killed by the girl he loved. Luckily after watching the entire video Sam and Dean decide not to hunt the girl down and kill her as she has done nothing wrong. Even though she killed the computer nerd on video, Dean says that she did not choose this, however computer nerd did so that tells me Dean would have been so down to pump him full of silver if he had the chance to do so. However, as they said in the ending if the girl does act up then they will have to kill her. However, they did not seem like they would want to even if she does because none of this was her choice.

                The great thing about this episode was that there was interaction between the supernatural and the natural. Normal humans in the universe were affected by the supernatural but it was from the human’s eyes. Because it was from the human’s eyes and not hunters it showed the viewers a different sort of perspective of the world. It showed that there is indeed more to the world, it showed that there are people that are doing their own thing and supernatural creatures are able to keep themselves separate. However, it was a human in this episode that truly became a monster the moment he had the power he had always wanted. The computer nerd who had great friends and an alright life threw it all away the moment he had the power his friend got by accident. However, his friend was terrified of it, he didn’t want it, and it was forced upon him. However, computer nerd took it for himself got the werewolf that gave it to him killed, killed his best friend and finally got killed by the girl he loved. There is indeed a God in the supernatural universe.
